FIRST CONFERENCE LEVEL COMMITTEE

First conference commissions are designed for delegates who have no previous experience in MUN, or in other words, this is the first conference they will be attending! It will be a mix of new knowledge, friends, and a lot of fun! The committee directors and the organizing team will be providing support for these delegates in all the steps of the process.

Beginner commissions are suited for delegates who have recently started their journeys in MUN, and seek to improve their skills of debate, research and diplomacy in a safe and challenging space. The committees will be hubs of growth and learning, providing attendees with plenty of resources to fully prepare and enjoy their participation in the best of ways.

CRISIS
The intermediate committees will host a cohort of delegates who wish to further augment their knowledge in MUN after some previous experience. These committees will require substantial research and knowledge of the current events shaping our world, yet will serve as spaces for growth and development in both a personal and collective way.
These committees are recommended for delegates who have engaged in MUN before, and possess a certain level of experience, yet wish to further learn and develop interests in the world of diplomacy and international relations.

Legal
Those delegates interested in the Security Councils of CACMUN X require extensive experience in MUN, and ideally, committees of this same type. Both the SC and HSC require deep research and preparation, as, being the most powerful organisms of the UN, obey a set of rules and laws crucial for maintaining international security. Those attending the historical version of the Security Council are expected to possess great knowledge on the events which surround the topics at hand; and, those attending the Security Council as such will face a series of challenges linked with the WEF/ UNICEF council when dealing with the Yemeni crisis.
These committees are recommended for delegates who have plenty of experience in MUN and great research qualities. Or, those delegates with experience who wish to seek new challenges in their paths in MUN.
EXPERT
LEVEL COMMITTEE

United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund / World Economic Forum (UNICEF/WEF)

Senate CRISIS
These committees are suitable for delegates in search of a challenge, who wish to conduct extensive and complete research to complement their already developed capacities in MUN. Those attending the UNICEF/WEF commission will be required to consider complex economic data, whilst keeping international law as the main tool for all decisions and solutions. The delegates who wish to attend the CRISIS of the Colombian Senate committee will need to properly understand the workings and processes of Colombia’s highest legislative chamber. This must be matched with a clear and updated knowledge of Colombian economics and politics, as well as plenty of experience in the world of Model UN.
These committees are recommended for delegates who have previous experience in highly renowned international conferences or have attended numerous national conferences with outstanding results.
